Discovered that my car was first registered in Cyprus

I bought a Ford CC1 in 2010 and this was registerred by the Wright Car Centre and DVLA on 1st March 2010, I was advised I would have a 2 year warranty.

I bought the car thinking it was not a pre-registerred car. I took the car into Ford for a service and required some things to be fixed under the warranty and they advised me the car was not in warranty as it was an imported car from Cyprus and was 1st registered on 31 Dec 2008. Very dissappointed that this was not pointed out by the Wright Car Centre and that I will now have to pay for items which should be covered under the warranty they advised me of. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

You could attempt to sue the people who sold you the car. But they will claim you bought a Cyprus car at a huge discount so should expect this.
