Winter tyres for an Evoque

I am buying a Range Rover Evoque Pure for delivery 3 Jan. I would like to fit winter tyres on this vehicle, but I have been told that to do so could invalidate the Warranty.

The car is equipped with Pirelli Verde 235/60 R18 V Summer Road Tyres which are not even M&S rated, never mind winter rated.

Continental have recommended Continental 4x4 Winter Contact 235/60 R18 107H XL but the supplying dealer tells me that my warranty will be voided as these are not to Range Rover specification (ie not V rated).

I called a German Range Rover main dealer who told me that all their cars are shipped with winter tyres at this time of year and suggested 7x17" steel rim with a Continental Cross Contact tyre 225x65 R17 at a price of €2,390.

How can I satisfy both Range Rover warranty requirements and european legal requirements for continental winter driving?

I can't tell you. But there are 5 types of Pirelli Scorpion. Your car comes with Scorpion Verde. The appropriate winter tyre is Scorpion Ice & Snow. I know LR approves Pirelli Scorpion. Every Disco, RR Sport and RR on a recent launch was on Pirelli Scorpions and they were fantastic.
