Trying to find the ideal 4x4
I was wondering if you would be able to recommend a 4x4.
We did look at a pick up like the L200, HiLux or Rodeo but we need the towing capacity to be 3.5ton as with the weight of the trailer and a load of lambs it takes it nigh on to the limit.
We would be looking for a manual with good well as good as a 4x4 can be fuel consumption so probably a diesel. The Defender seems one of the most popular ones in the market car park but after being bounced around in one my dad said he'd prefer something with better driver comfort especially with the potholes, Thank you.

The new Ford Ranger has a bigger towing capacity than before, but it is enormous.
I think all proper Land Rovers have a towing capacity of 3,500kg: Defender, Discovery 4, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover.
