Automatic gearboxes - what's best?

You recently commented unfavourably on the VW DSG, and the hesitation at roundabouts.

I want an automatic with a high seating position, and with sufficient room in the boot for a wheelchair. I was considering the 2.0 litre diesel Tiguan with DSG, but your comments have put me off.

I am now considering the 2.0 diesel Kia Sportage with auto gearbox. Could I seek your views on the Sportage with the diesel auto combination?

Ford's Powershift is like a DSG but works much better with no hesitation and you can get that in the Kuga.
