Golf getting hot

I'm having a few problems with my Golf - I broke down a few months ago when my car boiled over so I changed the thermostat as the bottom rad hose was cold.

It ran fine for about 2 weeks then I noticed water under the car, so I got under and one of the water pipes was corroded, so I changed that.

I thought that was that, then 2 weeks later I notice the temp gauge going to 120 every now and then, so I put a new temp sensor in, but it was still getting high!

The next step was a pressure test (everything fine) no sign of gasket trouble so I thought it must be the water pump. Got that done, along with timing kit but still happening!

I drove for an hour yesterday and all was fine but today I drove 10 mins and the temp went up to 120 again!

It may be that your radiator is blocked. Would suggest that you get it flushed out really well and/or change the rad.
