Audi recall - am I still eligible?
My 52-plate Audi A4 3.0 Cabriolet developed an ECU problem in the multi-tronic 'box a couple of years ago where it constantly runs in "limp home" mode.
At the time Audi quoted £1,200 to fix it, but I have just lived with it. Recently I asked JRC Motors of Alnwick to look at the ECU problem when the car was in for a routine job.
They kindly pointed out that there was a recall from Audi on the ECU and quoted me Audi Technical Service Bulletin, released 10/10/2007 labelled 37-07-15.
Audi never contacted me and I can find no information at Audi's website. How do I go about getting this work done by Audi, and is the recall still likely to be in force?

This was a TSB, not a recall, and would only have been carried out when the car was in for service at an Audi dealer. There is no automatic entitlement and since the car is now 9 years old, any entitlement there ever was has probably lapsed. But you won't know for sure unless you ask. So ask.
