Repairing a colleague's car
I pranged a colleague's car at work, Nissan Micra, dented behind driver door. Do I have to inform my insurer as I think it would be cheaper just for me to have it repaired for her.

If she agrees and she does not inform her insurer, then you're safe. But if anyone informs any insurer you have to come clean because they will know from their central database anyway and will use it against you if you don't disclose.

I recently had a minor collision with a wall in my Ford S-Max. I decided to claim via my insurance company. They sent my car for assessment and it's come back as a Cat S - so a structural write-off.
