Random warning light

Randomly a warning light appears on the dash. It's the orange one that means a bulb has gone. It's usually the drivers side indicator. If you keep the indicator on for a minute, constantly it fixes itself and then doesn't do it for a few days. Nothing comes up on the laptop when I take it to my garage (because it's not doing it then!) It has been a brake light that suddenly fixes itself too but mainly the indicator. Help please.

It sounds as though you may have a loose connection.Check the bulb itself (sometimes the filement is vibrating /nearly broken). Then check all connections at the bulb holder for corrosion /loosness,especially the earth connections
