Are there DPF problems with the Accord?

I am looking at buying a Honda Accord Estate.

Ideally I want a diesel for the economy, but having read many issues on DPF (diesel particulate filters) effecting many manufacturers I want to go for the newest I can, but avoid buying one with a DPF, especially as my wife will use it most of the time on short journeys.

When did this model have a DPF fitted?

Are there any large diesel estates built around 2008 which do not have a DPF as standard.

The Old shape Accord 2.2iCDTI did not have a diesel particulate filter. The current shape Accord 2.2iDTEC does have a diesel particulate filter, but I have yet to hear of any trouble with it either in the Accord or in the CR-V.
