Do I have any post purchase come back?

I bought a 1996 MX5 from the salesman at my local Mazda dealership (Vospers of Exeter). He made it clear he was selling it for his father but it was displayed on the forecourt. The dealership had MOT'd the car three weeks before. I asked him if there had been any 'advisories' He said no. Since buying the car I have been on the Government MOT website and it shows a report of corroded rear sills. This is potentially expensive to put right.

Do I have any comeback?

If it was a private sale, no. But not a bad idea to bring the matter up with the dealer principal of this dealership. Remember 'corroded rear sills' might just be surface corrosion. It it had been structural, the car would have failed. It may merely need cleaning up and painting.
