Upgrading a BMW X3 for towing
I seem to remember seeing an HJ answer about the BMW X3 needing significant upgrades when being equipped for towing. I think an improved cooling fan and oil cooler for the automatic gearbox, costing about £3600.
Can you tell me whether the 2010 X3 does need additional upgrading when fitting a tow bracket?

X5, not X3. Needs additional oil cooling for the automatic transmission.
