Is a 1.6-litre big enough?
I am interested in a 5008 but wonder if a 2-litre engine would be better than a 1.6, I have difficulty in believing that a 1.6 would be powerful enough with 7 passengers on board.

I checked out that aspect. Has to be the 1.6D, of course. But it's sensibly geared to make the best of the engine. Video test here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/peugeot/peugeot-50...o
I'm currently running a Mazda 5 1.6 diesel with the same drivetrain and it's surprisingly good.
