MINI Issues

Has BMW addressed the widespread previous issues with the current (latest) Mini models:

1 - Very thin windscreen Glass that cracks easily prompting replacement screen.
2- Timing chain rattles.

Considering a new Cooper S but unsure if issues remain ignored.

Timing chain rattles are a characteristic of this engine. I had them in a 207 THP 150. Can't tell you about the MINI screen glass. I guess so because no more complaints.
