Ride quality problrms

I have a Volvo S80 auto 2006 model with 84,000 miles. It may be imagination, but I find that the ride quality is worse than it used to be. Also, the car feels unsteady when breaking downhill. (Not much, just a bit). My Volvo specialist garage has given it a test drive and says all is as it should be , but I am still uncertain. Last full service & MOT in February, tyres good, shocks seem ok, but I do not have much experience of these as was brought up on re-fillable Armstrongs.

Front suspension wishbone bushes fail. Quite common.
