Which MPV?

I would value your advice as to which car to buy - we have a Toyota Prius and a VW Touran, and are looking to replace the Touran with another MPV. Our current favourites are the Honda FR-V and the Toyota Verso, either 6 or 7 seats is fine for us. Which would be the better option?

Both would be a year old - the FR-V has gone out of production, but year old vehicles are available. Also, what do you think of the performance and economy of the 1.8 petrol FR-V and 1.8 and 2.0 petrol Versos as opposed to diesel variants - the car would do a fairly low mileage, but we will buy the diesel version if it is much better.

The Toyota Verso 1.8 Valvematic is a better engine than the 1.8 engine in the FR-V.
