Biting brakes

Do all Golf 6 models like mine have the problem that the brakes snatch fiercely at low speeds, e.g. when slowing to a halt or coasting downhill in a queue of slow moving traffic?

Nothing wrong with them at speed but there does seem to be a pedal movement without immediate effect when at walking pace, say. The car is new this month.

Some VAG cars are like this, yes. You have to get used to it.
