Extra Sensitive Perception
I have a 2009 Golf Mk6 2.0 Tdi 110 that experiences momentary hesitation in power delivery when driving down moderately steep hills. The local VW franchise has been very attentive but reports this as a normal response due to the yaw sensor and ESP system, and there is no fault with these. However I find that the hesitation spoils my enjoyment of the car as my normal commute involves undulating country roads, and I am now minded to change the car. I would appreciate your independent opinion whether this hesitation should be expected.

The first time I drove a Golf 6 GTI, universally applauded by other
hacks, I found its ESP/ASC or whatever they call it unnecessarily applying the brakes on corners, so can only conclude that there must be a variation in the sensitivity of the sensors.

Do all Golf 6 models like mine have the problem that the brakes snatch fiercely at low speeds, e.g. when slowing to a halt or coasting downhill in a queue of slow moving traffic?
