DMFs and automatics
I have read on this site about the 406 110bhp having a dual mass flywheel and how many problems they can cause when they fail.
Can you confirm weather or not the 110 bhp AUTO is fitted with a DMF?
A thread I came across suggested that when a DMF is failing, a squeak can be heard when the engine is turned off. This is what I'm experiencing with my car.
Some clarification on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Secondly, could you tell me what the most likely cause is for a vibration/wobble sensation being felt at the front of the car, increasing with acceleration?

Torque converter autos don't need DMFs because the torque converter does the job, so buying a proper diesel auto is a good way of avoiding DMF trouble. Unfortunately VAG DSGs and S-tronics do have DMFs. Your wobble could be driveshafts, out of balance wheels or tyres or failing front suspension bushes.
