comfortable tyres

We want to replace the factory-fitted 225 55 R17 Pirelli P7 run-flat tyres on our new BMW 520D SE Auto Touring with conventional tyres and would very much appreciate your suggestions as to which would give us the best ride comfort as well as wet weather grip.

My recommendation is to stick to runflats, but go for the latest generation of them. Dunlops now seem to be best all round. Better ride than 1st and 2nd generation runflats.
