Nitrogen filled tyres
The lovely guys at ATS who check my tyre pressures are recommending that I have my tyres filled with nitrogen. According to them tyre pressures will then only need to be checked twice a year. Is this a good idea?

Yes. They do maintain pressure better when filled with nitrogen.
