DPF - should I change to petrol?
My 2.0-litre TDI 170 6sp A4 has been perfect so far whilst commuting 20 miles each way.
Now at three and a half years old and 41,000 miles my new commute will be only 3 miles each way. I would like to keep it another 18 months if possible as don't want to pay higher depreciation again.
Should I change to a petrol to avoid any DPF problems or will a periodical 20 mile fast run be sufficient to maintain it? (PS I practice hypermiling and regularly get 58/60 mpg combined).

'Hypermiling' won't help your DPF to regenerate and your short 3 mile tuns from cold will probably bung it up unless alternated with longer midweek runs.

Looks classy from the outside and feels classy on the inside. Huge array of engines on offer. Reasonably balanced handling and good ride.
