choice of 2 cars

Stuck between the choice of a top of the range Peugeot 207 and a 1.4 Volkswagen Polo SE. Both have different plus points; the 207 more gadgets, and the polo better resale value.

Which would you recommend? Both are the same price after my trade in.

The Polo 1.4 has a lousy, problem prone, belt cam engine. The 207 has a chain cam engine and offers a nicer, more enjoyable drive. I'd go for the 207. Make sure it comes with a spare wheel. 207s used to. Polos still do.
