Has LV stopped insuring Toyota models?

I have two Toyota cars both insured with LV for the last four years - o RAV4 and an Auris. I have had letters from LV saying that unfortunately there has been a significant rise in thefts of these cars and they have decided to stop insuring them. Anyone else had this problem?

It is the case that owners of certain vehicles are finding that some insurers are declining to offer cover due to aggravated risk factors. However, in most situations it should be possible to find cover with an alternative insurer - we would suggest using price comparison sites and brokers to get the best deal.
