Pedals in automatic cars
In a typical UK car(with the steering wheel on the right side) how are the pedals positioned in an automatic transmission car? What leg do you use to push them, the right like in US or the left?

Best to brake with the left foot at low speed and when manoeuvring. Less critical out on the motorway. But for quick driving on a country road it will give you better control. Some models such as the Mazda 3 1.6 auto in the sued car test have a 3x manual size brake pedal. See:
