Where can I get a cheap private plate?

How can I get a private number plate without breaking the bank?

The more specific you want to be with the numbers and letters on your private registration, the more expensive it is likely to be. We would suggest being as flexible as possible in this regard, and also shop around - as well as buying direct from the DVLA here: dvlaregistrations.dvla.gov.uk/ there are numerous websites offering private plates for sale.
