Opening the throttle makes the car slow down!

Just done over 100,500 miles in my Mondeo.

Two very small pipes keep blowing off when I accelerate. I dont know what the pipes are.

Got to the point that when I was trying to accelerate but I was actually decreasing in speed and had no power.

If I push the pipes on and it's better.

Any ideas of the problem? And is it worth fixing, as the car is worth very little as its so old.

Get some new pipes that are a better fit and use circlips to hold them on.
