Dirty turbocharger
I bought a Mondeo on a 53-plate. It's a 2.0-litre TDCi 130ps and the turbo pipe went whilst in cornwall.
I drove around 400 miles home with greatly reduced power and a lot of black exhaust smoke.
Having had a new pipe put on the car, it still feels like its down around 10% on power.
Could this be that the system is clogged from the 400miles where the turbo pipe had gone? Or could it be something else? Or is it me as the driver just settling into my car and being silly?

It may be that the turbo needs cleaning. You can do this yourself by getting a quality turbo cleaner.
