ABS fault
Our Toyota Carina estate has ABS on only two wheels, the front.
According to the manual it should be on four wheels or none.
The ABS has a problem and I want to know what the consequences of removing the ABS altogether are? Repairing may be more than the car is worth.
Surely it can't work properly on only two wheels? It has drums on the back, so no ABS.
We've had the car for 7 years and the ABS has never deployed.

You're not allowed to. If the car is supposed to have ABS it must be functioning correctly or it will fail its MoT.
