What small SUV would you recommend for fitting with hand controls?
What small petrol driven, automatic SUVs with "high" seating can be factory fitted with hand controls, and are such controls penalized for car insurance purposes?

If you need a vehicle that can be fitted with hand controls, we would suggest starting with a vehicle mobility specialist near you who will be able to carry out the required work for you, as they will likely have a list of vehicles that they can provide controls for which will help you narrow down your options. You can also see our guide to our favourite small SUVs here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/guides/best-small-suv/ Whether or not this carries an additional cost in terms of insurance will depend on the individual insurer.
