How can I prevent bird droppings from damaging my car paintwork?
I currently have a black MINI which is getting damaged by bird droppings. As this is unavoidable where I live and the damage occurs in minutes. I wondering if a different colour or car manufacturer would be better. I guess some cars have better paint than others?

Black paint will make debris such as bird droppings more visible, but there is no evidence to suggest that a different colour would be more resistant to damage. Premium manufacturers may have thicker paint, but again this is not necessarily going to provide better protection. We would suggest looking at a paint protection system such as a ceramic coating, or investing in a car cover that would offer significant protection.
