Do scratch remover products work?
There are many products that advertise the simplicity of masking or removing scratches on bodywork. Are they as magical as purported to be and if so what product would you recommend?

There are many products that can improve or even remove scratches from vehicle bodywork, but it depends greatly on the nature and severity of the scratch. Lighter scratches can be removed with a cutting compound, which removes very small amounts of paintwork and can eliminate the scratch completely, but if the scratch is deeper and goes through the paint layers only a repaint can remove them completely. We have tested Farecla scratch remover which performed well, you can read our review here: kit.honestjohn.co.uk/reviews/review-farecla-g3-pro.../
