I have several vehicles - is it sensible to take out legal assistance cover on each?
If one has several vehicles, say a car, a van and a motorcycle, is it advisable to take out legal assistance cover on each vehicle’s comprehensive insurance policy?

Legal cover usually offers confidential advice for any personal legal problem, including those unrelated to the insured vehicle. But this is just advice. So if you need legal representation, this is usually limited to the vehicle insured on the policy only. If you want to ensure you’ve got legal representation no matter what you’re driving, you may need to take out separate cover for each vehicle.
