Speedo repair on Mondeo
My girlfriend would like to know how much it's gonna cost to get our 2003 Mondeo TDCi automatic fixed please?
It's recently developed a problem with the speedo and mileometer only intermittently working. If it works from start up it's ok and won't fail.
But mostly it doesn't work from start up and it wont work again until the engine's stopped/started again.
The car has also developed a bit of a fuel leak, and what with the cost of diesel at the moment it's getting to be a bit of a drain!

The speedo problem may be nothing more than a failed oil seal to the speed sensor on the final drive. Costs about £90 to replace. Cannot help you with the fuel leak. Depends where it is.
