Are there any insurers who specialise in older driver insurance?

I am 84, mentally and physically fit, with no claims or convictions. I have been driving since I was 17. I have a Jaguar F-Pace and want to change it for a Volvo XC40 but I am having a problem finding insurance, presumably because of my age.
Do you know of any Insurers who are happy to take one someone like me?

Sadly, insurance costs do tend to go up for older drivers as a result of increased perception of risk. However, if you are fit and have a good driving record you should still be able to get insurance at a reasonable price. We'd recommend either approaching an independent local broker, or going to a specialist insurer for older motorists such as Saga www.saga.co.uk/insurance/car-insurance/over-70s
