Skoda Octavia 1.6 TDI Elegance (diesel) - timing belt or chain?

I am thinking of buying a Skoda but I'm aware from reading Honest John's column regularly that the issue of timing belts/cams is important. Before I buy, does the model I prefer have a chain cam engine?

Belt cam. Lot of reader complaints about this engine. The 1.2TSI 105 petrol seems to be a much better bet.
