Can storing a hybrid for several months damage the batteries?
My son is thinking of buying a Toyota Yaris Cross which may be left in storage for some months at a time. No electric supply will be available. Can this damage the drive battery or accessory battery?

Leaving a car for this long will likely cause both the drive battery and 12V battery to become discharged. This won't cause any damage but it will obviously make it difficult to start.
If there's no electricity supply available you could use a solar trickle charger that will keep the 12V battery topped up, allowing your son to start the vehicle.
