Selling a high mileage Seat Exeo

I need to sell a 09 Seat Exeo SE Tdi 143 saloon (a very good car, by the way) - I'm getting a company car as replacement.

Has done 64k miles - FSH, good condition. Have looked on a autotrader, and all vehicles of similar age/spec have done at most about 35k miles. Have got valuation from Webuyanycar.com, which valued it at £6500. Given the mileage, not sure if it is even worth try to sell via Autotrader, or similar private means, but £6500 seems a bit low to me. Is it worth trying to sell at auction, and could I expect anything more if i did? Would be interested to know your view.

I think you'll do better than that at www.sure-sell.info

You'll be taking a chance, but at least the trade and public will be bidding against each other for your car rather than just a single buyer bidding for it. Trade books at £11,825 minus about £3,100 = £8,725.
