buying new tyres

the front tyres on my VW Tiguan 4Motion suv need changing, but can I get away with just renewing the front two or should I replace all four?

While it's not ideal in terms of on-limit handling and braking grip levels, fitting a different set on the front is not drastically bad as long as the tyres across each axle match. Speak to your tyre fitted who can recommend a tyre with a similar tread pattern to the rears.
