Can I reject a car with an air con leak?
I purchased a used car from an independent dealer. The same day we noticed water coming from underneath the glove compartment, entering the passenger footwell (air conditioning leak). Am I within my rights to ask for them to repair the fault or contribute to this? There is a six-month warranty with the car but would this be covered? We never noticed this during the test drive and the dealer said he had not noticed this.

You are within your rights to reject the car for a full refund or demand a free repair, as per the 2015 Consumer Rights Act: www.honestjohn.co.uk/how-to-reject-a-car-your-cons.../
