How much will my insurance increase after making a claim?

After having a claim on my insurance policy, how much is the premium likely to go up in price over the next few years?

We cannot give you a hard and fast figure on how much the premium will go up as it depends on several factors: the value of the car, the damage caused, where you live, your mileage and various other factors. Your premium will go up significantly more if it was deemed your fault: a non-fault accident might add 20 per cent to your premiums, an at-fault accident might be more than 50 per cent.
