DVLA ignoring our medical driving licence application - what should we do?

My fiancé has been waiting since January for a driving licence. He’s got epilepsy and his doctor has said that he is fine to drive as he hasn’t had a seizure in years but the DVLA just isn’t getting back to him. It’s dreadful it’s making him ill - what can he do?

If your fiancé has tried all means of communication and can't speak to anyone at the DVLA I would suggest making a formal complaint online or in writing via the post.

Failing that, you could contact your local MP for assistance. We are aware of MPs who have been very helpful and complained to the DVLA on behalf of one of their constituents.
