Temperature guage shows over-heating while driving up long inclines (coolant at minimum level - not leaking)
I have noticed that when driving up long inclines, the temperature (according to the guage) starts to creep up rapidly from 90 degrees towards 130. It returns to 90 once I level off or start going downhill. I have not tried topping up the coolant from the minimum up to the maximum level, although this never happens when the engine is running and the car is stationary.

So are you losing coolant on a regular basis?
You may well be because the water is boiling and is most likely then overflowing from the expansion tank.
You need to check to see that your system is pressurised, i.e is the filler cap fitted correctly?
You may need to get a local garage to carry out a pressure test on the cooling system to see where the problem is.
