Limited imagination

I used to get annoyed about speed cameras and the fact that they can be just a source of revenue and, despite respecting the need for safe speed limits; my human nature would often make me impatient and frustrated at having to keep to them. Until now, that is. I have changed my mindset so that I keep religiously to limits and enjoy doing so. Every time I pass a camera, driving at the proper speed, I say to myself "That's another sixty quid you're not getting." And I've started to tot up how much I've not paid. Over the last month I've "saved" £600. I know it's really just a silly mind game, but it's very satisfying, has made me less annoyed, and possibly a safer driver. I can't wait to see what the total is at the end of the year.

Why do you think I drive a FIAT 500 1.2 petrol (and average 51.4mpg) rather than a Ferrari F550 Maranello?
