The roofers tree
Just a thought but the problem with "sticking" retractable hoods such as the one on my wife's Peugeot 206CC can be caused by opening or closing it on a slope. Dealers don't always think to ask the location of where it was used. This happened to a friend's car and my wife was warned by the selling dealer not to use it on a slope for exactly that reason and it has never stuck.

Fair point. Many thanks. Another oddball fact about them is that the best people to fix the mechanisms are often agricultural machinery specialists because these use similar electro hydraulics.
