My wife has a Renault Megane Cabriolet with a power-operated hood. When trying to lower the hood, it starts to go down then stops and just bleeps. Each time this happens the main dealer fiddles about and after a couple of days gets it working again. This lasts for a while then the same fault returns. The main dealer in Swindon now admits that they really don't know anything about power-operated hoods. The fault has now returned and I don't see any point in spending more money with the main dealer. Do you know of a fix or please can you suggest a company that know how to fix power operated hood problems on Meganes? With summer here it would be nice to be able to drive with the hood down.
