Can you recommend an efficient small car?
I have a SEAT Ibiza, which I love and thought was environmentally friendly but now I need to change it as I mostly make long journeys between Nottingham and just inside the north circular in London. I also drive to (and around) the Lake District. Ideally, I’d like a 2 door quite small car. I’m only 5 foot tall. I would consider electric but am concerned I might get stranded on a long journey or in a remote region. Hope you can help. Thank you.

We'd recommend the new Toyota Yaris Hybrid. It's a five-door model (like most hatchbacks of this size) but it's a really efficient little car that's easy to drive. Alternatively, a petrol Ford Fiesta is a great little car that's available as a three-door. Buy one with the efficient 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine and it'll be powerful enough for motorway driving.

Looks great on the outside and isn't too shabby on the inside either. Hybrid engine is cheap to run and relaxing. Autonomous aids make long drives painless.
