Tyrzzzzz

I have a 3-year-old Honda Jazz with CVT. I am extremely pleased with the performance - but there is one fault that is very annoying - ROAD NOISE. If I go into neutral at 60 mph (I know this is not recommended) the only noise in the car is tyre/road noise. The tyres are 185/55R15 82V. The mileage is low (due to illness), kept at the correct pressures, and have plenty of tread. Can you recommend QUIET tyres? I realise it may be costly to change all four tyres, but the annoyance during long journeys may make it worthwhile as I intend to keep the car.

Switch to Michelin Energy or Vivacy when the tyres get down to 2 – 3 mm. But, being harder, low rolling resistance compound, they will only be quieter in the summer. In the cooler temperatures of winter, road noise will increase.
