I'm on my fourth Ibiza but need to trade it in soon. I'm comparing it to the Hyundai i20 and Skoda Fabia, both 1.4 petrol versions. Speed isn’t important but comfort is as I am 65 and slightly disabled. The SEAT seems a very hard ride, but I'm told the new version is gentler. I don’t want whizzbangs, don’t want MP3/bluetooth or any techie nonsense. All I need is reliability and comfort, aircon a must. Can you advise please?

The new, most basic model Ibiza 1.2, is a bit gutless but still quite a nice car with decent ride quality on standard 15" wheels and tyres. Test last year at hjuk. The Hyundai i20 is a close competitor with a much better new 1.2 chain cam engine and a 5-year warranty. I like the Roomster, but can’t get excited about the Fabia.
