Climate change

In April 09 I ordered a Mercedes A180 CDI Elegance SE 5door with the optional Luxury Package. I took delivery on 19th June and the car has only the standard air conditioning, not climate control. In the book (provided by the dealer) from which I picked my options the Luxury Pack included climate control. It appears the factory cancelled climate control as, from 1st June, it is no longer included in the Luxury Pack. What options do I have?

Legally, manufacturers can change spec between order and delivery. The case was Johnson v Hersham & Walton Motors, Kingston County Court, in the 1990s, and concerned an Aston Martin, the spec of which substantially changed between the buyer putting a big deposit down and taking delivery. (In F.T.’s case the dealer looked after his customer and re-ordered the A-Class with climate control.)
