Firm car
In 2007 I exchanged a SAAB 9-5 for a new BMW 3 Series SE model. Whilst BMW quality is unquestioned, the ride is uncomfortable due to firmer suspension and runflat tyres. Whilst the GM/Saab situation concerns me somewhat, I am tempted to exchange the BMW for another SAAB 9-5 for the comfort of the Saab seats and the ride. Your thoughts on this, or on a suitable equivalent car, would be welcome.

Wait until autumn when the next generation Runflat 3 tyres are launched. They give a much softer ride, equivalent to non-runflat tyres. SAAB’s future depends on the Koenigsegg take-over deal.
